C. Inflate away government debt? It's been successfully used previously.

Sure. I guess I sort of lumped that in with "print the money." As Lyn Alden has pointed out, the 1940s provide a good parallel. We used yield curve control to keep rates low and 10 years later we were back to reasonable levels of debt/gdp. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see YCC make a comeback at some point
